[Men's Cross Country] WHAC Releases Men's Cross Country Honors
ALLENDALE, Mich. - (Complete Honors) -
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) released its 2019 Men's Cross Country Honors at the championship meet. Coach of the Year went to Nate Van Holten of Cornerstone fter the Golden Eagles won the championship. Runner of the Year was awarded to Tony Floyd of Madonna based on his first-place finish at the meet. Cornerstone's Luke Pohl was named Newcomer of the Year as he was the top finisher new to the conference and the sport. Aquinas head coach Mike Wojciakowski was named the Champions of Character Coach.
Finishers No. 1 through No. 7 were award First Team All-Conference with finishers 8-14 named to the Second Team. In addition, All-Academic (juniors or above in academic standing with cumulative 3.25 GPA) and Champions of Character Team (best exemplifies the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership).
