[Men's Soccer] Indiana Tech Wins Men's Soccer Championship
Indiana Tech went through the 2019 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's soccer season without a loss and finished with a 10-0-1 WHAC record to claim its first men's soccer conference championship. The title was decided with the last game of the regular season when the Warriors defeated runner-up UNOH 2-0 on Nov. 5 to clinch the crown. Tech outscored WHAC opponents 37-10 with four shutouts and the tie came in the form of a 2-2 match with Cleary on Oct. 30.
With the regular season conference crown, the Warriors are the first seed in the upcoming WHAC Tournament and earn the league's first automatic berth to the 2019 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Opening Round. Madonna holds the record for most men's soccer championships with 10 while Aquinas has six.
