[Women's Basketball] Point University Beat the PCC Eagles on the Road

Pensacola, Fl. – Te' Johnson (SR/Huntsville, Ala.) scored a season high of 34 points as the Lady Skyhawks defeated the Pensacola Christian College Eagles 63-59 in their first road game of the year. In a tight first quarter neither team led by more than 3 points as the Skyhawks ended the quarter with an 18-16 lead. The Lady Eagles outscored the visitors 14-7 in the second quarter which gave them a 30-25 lead going into the locker room. The Skyhawks came out clicking on all cylinders in the third quarter as they stormed back to reclaim the lead going into the final period at 43-42. The fourth quarter found the Skyhawks stretching their lead to 11 points and hanging on for a 63-59 win. The Skyhawks go into conference play with a 2-0 record.
