[Women's Basketball] Heinen named to All-KCAC Preseason Women's Basketball team

WICHITA – Kansas Wesleyan's Courtney Heinen (SR/Axtell, Kan.) has been named to the Kansas Conference Women's Basketball Preseason Team.

Heinen, a senior guard from Axtell, averaged 10.0 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 34.8 percent from the field in 29 games last season. She made 37 3-pointers and shot 74 percent from the free throw line.

She was named All-KCAC Honorable Mention.

Heinen averaged 9.4 points and 2.8 rebounds while playing in 31 games as a sophomore and 5.2 points and 1.3 rebounds in 14 games her freshman season.

The Coyotes open the 2019-20 season against Midland (Neb.) at 5 p.m. Saturday in Mabee Arena.
