The key people behind the ACCN are mostly women

We don’t know exactly what the ACC will be like on Day One, much less where its going, but it’s already distinguished itself in one regard: the driving force behind it getting on the air is largely composed of women.

It sounds like a group with some keen intelligence and they realize that the ACC fan base is not the same as every other conference: “If we mirrored another conference network, we failed because the ACC is so different,” Rosalyn Durant, the senior vice president of college networks said. “We threw all templates away early on.”

That’s really very encouraging.
