The rebuild and rebirth continue for the Panthers
Part of Pitt’s schedule has been released - the early FSU game and the non-conference games.
As we discussed the other day, a rebuilding team or a coach on the proverbial hot seat is not going to put together a killer schedule. It’s just too risky.
So it is with Pitt where former Duke start and assistant Jeff Capel will open with Florida State to kick off the ACC Network coverage and then play the non-conference slate:
- Nicholls State
- @ Robert Morris
- West Virginia
- Monmouth
- Arkansas Pine Bluff
- vs K-State
- Bradley/Northwestern
- Rutgers
- Northern Illinois
- Binghamton
- Canisius
More interestingly, Capel is moving things around in the Pete. He’s moving the benches in front of the student section, moving the band and flipping the on-court logo.
All of this sounds vaguely familiar somehow...
