Not really sure if this is worth a thread, but I figured since it's related to us and LA, it can't hurt anyway.
Penberthy was a member of Gentry's staff and was a shooting coach for the Pelicans for the 2018-19 season. So, as it stands now, the Lakers currently have:
Anthony Davis (ex-Pel)
Demarcus Cousins (ex-Pel)
Rajon Rondo (ex-Pel)
Quinn Cook (ex-Pel)
Mike Penberthy (ex-Pel staff)
...we really weren't joking when we said they were just rebuilding the new Lakers out of old Pels pieces, were we?
