[Men's Golf] UNOH Finishes 8th at NAIA Men's Golf Nationals

MESA, Ariz. - (Complete Results) - UNOH used the final day at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship to move up two spots and finish eighth with a team score of 1193. The event was played at Las Sendas Golf Club on the 6,900-yard, par 71 course.. Texas Wesleyan won the national championship with rounds of 293-283-294-296 for 1166.

The Racers set in 12th after the opening round, but cut 13 strokes off for a 297 the second day to move up to 10th at the cut. UNOH remained in 10th after the third round despite shaving a couple strokes off. The Racers finished with a line of 310-297-295-291 for the 1193 total to finish in the top 10 for the second consecutive year.

Lewis Scott was named to the All-Tournament Team as he tied for fourth place at 287 and Gonzalo Garcia-Parada finished tied for 16 with a 294 to lead the Racers.
