Washington may be without the services of its top receiving tailback for a while. Chris Thompson suffered a broken leg Sunday’s afternoon in his team’s showdown with the Saints.
Drew Brees saved the Saints again.
The New Orleans Saints looked toast down 15 late in the fourth quarter, but Drew Brees orchestrated two touchdown drives in the final minutes to lead the team back against Washington and get a 34-31 win in overtime.
