[Women's Basketball] #13 Lady Lions Capture 2019 AAC Regular-Season Title!

ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. – The historic year for the 13th-ranked Bryan College women's basketball team became even sweeter on Saturday when the Lions sealed their second straight Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season championship, as Bryan gutted out a tough victory on the road at 22nd-ranked Milligan College. Three of the previous four seasons, Bryan has been crowned the AAC regular-season champion. In the only year that the Lions were unable to capture the regular-season title (2016-17), they still earned a piece of the hardware as the conference tournament champions and went on to defend their conference tournament title last season. The triumph at Milligan protected Bryan's undefeated AAC campaign at 23-0 while the Lions lifted their overall record to 25-1 and dropped the Buffaloes to 20-3 in conference play and 22-5 overall.
