Video: DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Durant play one-on-one
He’s almost back, Dub Nation. Get hyped.
It’s mid-December, which can only mean one thing: The debut of DeMarcus Cousins on the Golden State Warriors is nearing. After the four-time All-Star’s latest evaluation, the team said that he would likely be back shortly after Christmas.
To add to that, Cousins spent a part of last week practicing with the Santa Cruz Warriors, to help get into game shape. There’s still no target date (at least not one that has been made public), but it’s clear that we’re getting very close to the debut of Boogie.
And just in case you want to get hyped for it, Cousins put on a little bit of a show at Sunday’s practice, when he spent some time playing one-on-one with Kevin Durant. Check out the tape, courtesy of The Athletic’s Anthony Slater.

Now, that’s not quite as good as, say, watching him post up Joel Embiid, but it’s a pretty exciting sight. Something tells me Cousins is going to fit in just fine...
