[Women's Soccer] Three of Top Four Seeds Survive WSOC Tourney
Sixth-seeded Indiana Tech pulled the lone upset of the 2018 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Soccer Tournament to join top-seeded UNOH, second-seeded Aquinas and No. 4 Madonna in the semifinals. It's the fourth time in WHAC history that the sixth seed has advanced out of the opening round. Spring Arbor made it to the championship game in 2002, Siena Heights lost in the semifinals in 2011, and Marygrove made it to the semis in 2016.
Madonna travels to UNOH for the first semifinal match at noon and Indiana Tech visits Aquinas with a 4 p.m. start on Saturday, Nov. 3. The winners will play at the highest seed for the championship on Nov. 10.
