Atlanta will try to keep its season alive with Mike Foltynewicz on the mound to start Game 4, on just three days rest after he was roughed up for four runs in just two innings in Game 1. The 26-year-old right-hander was the Braves’ best pitcher this season, with a 2.85 ERA in his 31 starts and 202 strikeouts in 183 innings.

“He went two innings, 50 pitches. He’s good. That’s just a workout,” Braves manager Brian Snitker said Sunday night. “I’d rather start him than have him coming in behind somebody. So he’s raring to go and itching to get the ball, and it’s still elimination. So we’re going to try and go with the best we got.”

Rich Hill gets the ball for the Dodgers. The veteran left-hander struggled down the stretch but finished his regular season with back-to-back strong, seven-inning outings against bad Padres and Giants teams, allowing one total run. Hill beat the Braves on July 26 in Atlanta, pitching seven scoreless innings.

Joe Davis and John Smoltz are on the call of Game 4 for FS1, with online streaming through Fox Sports Go.
