NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - Cloudy skies rolled above Thresher Stadium throughout the Bethel Lady Threshers' (1-1, 0-0) contest, but the thunder was nowhere to be found; both in the sky and on the field. Bethel did not allow the Manhattan Christian College Thunder a single shot in the game, and in the meantime took 47 of their own. Highlighting the spread-out attack of Bethel was Newton newcomer Bekah Tonn (SO/Newton, Kan.), who finished the game with three goals and four assists, tying the program single-game assist record in the process. Kacie Torrens (SO/Castle Rock, Colo.) also recorded a hat trick, eight total Threshers scored, and Bethel broke their program single-game goals record in the 14-0 blowout.
