What to Look for in the Week of Sept. 3 - 9

With an eye on gaining national recognition, California Pacific Conference soccer programs continue their challenging non-conference campaigns against highly competitive programs. 

The men's slate kicks off today with No. 23 UC Merced hosting a tough Oregon Tech team, La Sierra driving north to take on No. 22 Westmont, and Simpson will go against NCAA Division II CSU Stanislaus.  On Wednesday, Pacific Union will also take on a DII team when it travels to Dominican for a non-conference matchup.  On Friday, No. 4 Marymount California goes to No. 13 Vanguard, and the next day three Cal Pac teams will host teams that received votes:  Hope International is at Benedictine-Mesa, The Master's will be at Embry-Riddle, and Southern Oregon will play in Merced.  On Sunday SOU will stay in Northern California when the Raiders visit PUC.
