[Men's Basketball] Men's basketball adds nine for 2018-19 season
Season tickets are on sale
Georgetown College coach Chris Briggs and staff have successfully reloaded the 2018-19 roster after losing seven players from this past year. Briggs, entering his eighth season at the helm, has added a mixture of true freshman and transfers to a team that returns its second leading scorer, 6-foot-5 guard Troy Steward, and 6-0 starting point guard Eljay Cowherd. The Tigers also return wing Jacob Conway, who started 17 games and was a key contributor off the bench, and forward Malik Dow, another key contributor off the bench. Chris Coffey, a forward who earned second team all-conference honors in 2016-17, returns to the court this year. Rounding out the returners, is true sophomore and Canadian product Dusan Prelo, a 6-11 center.
The new faces are: Jaquay Wales, Devin Pendergrass, Colton Elkins, Kyran Jones, Tyrik Edwards, Brodricks "Buddah" Jones, Murshid Randle, Dominique Reid and Joe Burton.
