NBA Summer League 2018: Lakers vs. Blazers time, TV/live stream info for Las Vegas title

0

This should be fun!

The 2018 Las Vegas NBA Summer League will conclude on Tuesday night in a championship game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers, the two standouts of the last two weeks. Both survived narrowly in semifinals wins, with L.A. beating the Cavs in two overtimes, and Portland beating Memphis by just five points.

Now it’s time to see who will win the first prize of the 2018-19 season.

The game will feature legitimate bench players for the upcoming season. These teams have real talent. Josh Hart might be the MVP of the summer, dropping 37 points on 28 shots in the Lakers’ 2OT win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. He’s proven he’s of another class than most other Vegas participants. His scoring’s supplemented by rookie Svi Mykhailiuk, who had 31 points on six threes.

The Blazers are led by second-year big Caleb Swanigan, Archie Goodwin, Zach Collins and Wade Baldwin IV. They’re deep with a handful of guys who should get nightly time off the bench next year. The question is if they’ll have enough talent to stop Hart and the Lakers.
