It was a magical day at the Cardinals game on Sunday. The sun was shining, the breeze was blowing and everyone was ready to see the first pitch ... except this dude carrying a banner.

I think this should be a new sub-sport: Crack people with the ceremonial first pitch. I’m not talking a debilitating fast ball or anything, I’m not a monster — but still add a little excitement to the proceedings.

That way when you get to the game you never know what you’ll get! Will Jon Hamm hit a ice cream vendor? Can Betty White peg an octogenarian? Only time will tell.
