Eight teams fighting over 12 days in Omaha for the NCAA baseball championship

The 2018 College World Series is here, with eight teams vying for the NCAA baseball tournament championship over a week and a half at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.

The regional and subregional rounds have whittled down the tournament field from 64 to eight teams. Left standing is No. 1 overall Florida, the defending champion and one of three SEC teams to make the College World Series.

Format

These teams will battle in two double-elimination brackets until two teams remain. The two finalists will play a best-of-three series from June 25-27.

Television & online coverage

The up to 17 games over 11 to 12 days will be televised by the ESPN family of networks, mostly on ESPN with some games on ESPN2 and ESPNU. Online streaming is available through Watch ESPN.
