[Men's Golf] NAIA Honors WHAC Men's Golfers
The NAIA released the All-America Teams and Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team for men's golf and 16 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) golfers were honored. Reece Blair and Gonzal Garcia-Parada of UNOH earned Second Team All-American honors while teammate Lewis Scott was listed on the third team. The teams were selected by the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Association All-America Committee
Lawrence Tech led the way with four named Scholar-Athletes while Indiana Tech had three and Aquinas two. Cornerstone, Madonna, Rochester, and Siena Heights eached landed a player of the Scholar-Athlete team for a total of 13 WHAC honorees. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
