It’s been a long day. Is it just me, or does it feel like it’s been a significantly longer day than most days? It’s Wednesday, the weekend is still so far away, and if things are dragging for you then I have good news:
PUPPIES.
The North Shore Animal League brought a bunch of good dogs to Citi Field to promote adoption of shelter dogs on Wednesday, and before their game against the Marlins, Mets players took the time to cuddle some of those adorable puppers.

The Mets season has taken a little dip lately, with their annual injury bug finally showing up and the losses racking up after a hot start. Puppies fix anything, and if New York rattles off a couple wins in a row after this they might just have to come to Citi Field before every home game.
