Drake is the Funniest Court-Side Fan.

Toronto native and rapper, Drake, is one of the NBA's most loyal celebrity fans. He's been a Toronto Raptors Ambassador and even commentated at games. But most of all, Drake has been a hilariously 'annoying little brother' type court-side at every game. And I sincerely look forward to every hilarious moment.

1. Drake Announces Toronto Raptors Starting Lineup

Remember in the 2015 season when Drake announced the Toronto Raptors starting line up? The Raptors were taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was also "Drake Night" in Toronto. The entire game was lavished with praise and entertainment for the ‘Gods Plan’ rapper.

Drake announcing the starting five was something worth hearing. Who knew the Toronto native was also a hilarious at commentary? He introduced DeMar DeRozen as "Thinks he’s playing in the Drew League tonight." He called Bismack Miyombo, someone who accused LeBron of wearing a fake mustache. Demarre Carroll was called ‘someone often mistaken for PartyNextDoor.’ Kyle Lowry ‘you may remember him from hits like ‘feels so good’ and ‘Mo Money Mo Problems.’ Head coach Dwayne Casey was introduced as ‘the sharpest man in the NBA.’

It wasn’t just his color commentary that was funny. It was the fact that the Raptors did not seem to react to a single one. And Dwayne Casey looked so un-amused by the entire situation.

2. Paul Pierce Pushing Drake While He Laughs

That same season Drake made a meme worthy sideline appearance. When the Raptors were swept by the Washington Wizards, it was a tense last 12 seconds of the game, Wizards trailing Toronto 95-93.

Veteran player, Paul Pierce was not having any of Drake’s doing-too-much antics on the sideline that night. As The Truth was preparing to inbound the ball hoping to either tie up or win this game, Drake’s guys say something to Pierce, in his ear before the referee hands him the ball. Then Drake stands a little too close for comfort and Pierce gives him a gentle shove. Which Drake found hysterical, laughing loudly and exaggerated in Pierce’s face. And Paul Pierce did not think it was funny. To this day Pierce is still roasting Drake about his antics at games.

3. Taunts Pacers’ Guard Rodney Stuckey After a Turnover

During the 2016 Eastern Conference Finals The Pacers had a 92-87 lead with seven minutes left in game 3. Pacers guard, Rodney Stuckey, loses his dribble falling out of bounds trying to keep the ball in play. Drake put his hands up leaning back, mocking Stuckey and acting like a Raptors player trying to avoid being the last to touch the rock. And then right after making the turnover, Drizzy proceeds to annoyingly clap in Stuckey’s ears.

It was an annoying moment for the Pacers. But for fans, it was pretty hilarious.

4. Wears a Doris Burke Shirt and Asks Her Out

2016 was a groundbreaking season for the Toronto Raptors. But Drake seemed to have a similarly eventful season courtside. During a particular Wednesday night matchup with the Golden State Warriors, Drake took the opportunity to express his feelings for someone in the arena.

The rapper showed up wearing a t-shirt with the words "Woman Crush Everyday" written underneath an image of "NBA on ESPN" reporter Doris Burke.

Reporters asked him about the fashion statement and he divulged that he’s inviting her to "dinner at my house any time, as long as she comes alone." Burke, who was not in attendance, later tweeted accepting the offer, "Dinner is on" followed by a heart icon. Match made in basketball history.

It was an awesome shirt. I’ll admit I wanted one. It was probably one of my favorite ‘Drake’s courtside antics’ moments.

5. Nearly Fights Kendrick Perkins Then Shades Him On Instagram

During Game 1 of the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals Drake managed to earn a stern warning from the NBA for his behavior. He got in a shouting match with Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kendrick Perkins twice while sitting courtside.

After the game, Perkins texted ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and said, "What happened was I was talking to my old teammate Serge (Ibaka) walking into halftime telling him ‘We about to win this game,’ and Drake butted in talking shit to me. So I said something back to him."

The best part of the story is the next day when Perkins statement was plastered all over social media explaining the situation, Drake responded by saying, " I was just trying to tell him I liked the hem on his capris."

While Perkins was trying to ‘clear the air’ and seriously tell what’s happening, Drake still shaded him. Classic Drake and it’s amazing. I’m still laughing at that one.

These are only five moments listed. There are plenty more hilarious moments of basketballs most passionate celebrity fan. I’m wondering why Drake isn’t invited to commentate more often? How funny would he be on NBA on TNT with Shaq and Chuck?
