Steph Curry is officially probable for Game 2

0

Get ready, folks. He’s back.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Stephen Curry is officially listed as probable for Tuesday’s Game 2 between the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans. Coach Steve Kerr announced the news at Monday’s practice.

While “probable” still leaves the door open for Curry to sit out for one more game, Kerr sure made it seem like that was not going to happen.

There has been speculation that when Curry returns he will be on a minute restriction. Kerr clarified that by saying that there will be no set restriction, but that Curry may play limited minutes if his conditioning and rhythm force the issue.

Curry hasn’t played since injuring his knee on March 23. That game was his first since returning from an ankle injury. That means that, if Curry makes it through Tuesday’s game with no recurring injuries, it will be his first full game in nearly two months.

Which is pretty freaking exciting.
