The Raptors vs. Cavaliers second round schedule is set

Toronto’s Round 2 series against the Cavs is set in stone, and it features a consistent set of game days.

With the Raptors taking care of their Round 1 series in six games, they will enjoy (for the first time ever) more days of rest than their opponent before the next series begins. The Cavaliers defeated the Pacers in Sunday’s Game 7, and the two teams will face off on Tuesday evening at 8pm EST—Toronto’s first prime-time slotting of the postseason. It's arguably the only benefit of having to play against LeBron James for the third postseason in a row.

After spending Game 6 on ESPNews (and before that, ESPN2) in the States, Lauren Miles, wife of forward C.J. Miles, had a comical quip in reaction to the multiple prime-time slates.

Toronto’s Round 2 also includes an odd sight—each game in the series will be played on an every-other-day basis which basically means you’ll never have to second-guess game-day. It also means, however, that both teams could be handicapped with just one day allotted for practice and rest between match-ups, even when changing game locations.
