Playoff watch thread: Bucks and Celtics battle it out

0

There’s only one playoff game today. Let’s talk about it.

Wednesday night was a wild and crazy night in the NBA Playoffs. There were a total of four games, which featured an absurd comeback by the Oklahoma City Thunder, a buzzer beat by LeBron James, and a series-clinching performance by the Houston Rockets.

By those standards, Thursday night is relatively tame. There’s only one game on the slate, and it’s admittedly not the most exciting game in the world. It’s Game 6 between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Celtics lead the series 3-2, so the Bucks have their backs against the wall. However, all five games have been won by the home team, and Game 6 is in Milwaukee, so all signs point to this series going the distance.

Elsewhere in sports, the NFL Draft is happening tonight, if my Twitter timeline is to be believed. But if you’re anything like me, you’d rather watch a mediocre NBA playoff game than something NFL related.

So if your buddies are watching a bunch of NFL teams take shots in the dark that are likely to miss, and you’re feeling all alone watching basketball, this is the thread for you. We welcome you with open arms.

Now sit back, relax, and enjoy a fun basketball game that has zero implications on the Golden State Warriors. It’s kind of nice for a change.
