Gamethread: Warriors host the Pelicans
Golden State will look take down a team in the thick of the playoff race.
This game doesn’t mean anything for the Golden State Warriors, in terms of their playoff seeding. The same cannot be said of their opponent, the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans are currently in the thick of a truly absurd playoff race, and are in a three-way tie for the fifth seed.
So you can bet that they’ll be playing hard, as they’re fighting for both their playoff lives, and their seeding.
The Warriors will be throwing a new starting lineup out there, as Kevon Looney is getting the nod at center, alongside Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Quinn Cook.

Is Looney starting a sign of things to come in the playoffs? Yes and no. Asked about his center rotation, Steve Kerr said, from here on out, the starter will be determined by the matchup.
As for the rest of the lineup, both Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala are listed as questionable. However, Kerr’s goal is to play one of them tonight, and then play the other in tomorrow’s game.
Kerr said Iguodala and Livingston are questionable. Said there's a "good chance" he plays one of them tonight and the other tomorrow vs. Phoenix.

Finally, Kerr is expecting the team to come out ready to play tonight, after a lackluster showing on Thursday.
Kerr on describing Thursday's loss to Indiana a "pathetic effort:" "I stand by my words, but I'm very confident we'll play better tonight."

I think I speak for all of us when I say that would be nice.
