Look at this sick 3 picture sequence from the Cristiano Ronaldo bicycle kick

Honestly the still images might be better than the video.

Have you seen the absolutely ridiculous bicycle kick goal that Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Juventus on Tuesday? In case you haven’t, behold:

Bonkers.

As good as that video is, this three-picture sequence might even be a better depiction of how cool that goal was. First, look at how high Ronaldo is off the ground here. Also, the faces of the Juventus supporters in the background are money — they appear to know exactly how screwed their team is.

As Ronaldo connects with the ball, his foot is probably over seven feet off the ground. It’s way over the head of the defenders. Referees sometimes give fouls against attacking players on bicycle kicks for dangerous play when defenders are this close, but this isn’t even dangerous because Ronaldo’s foot is so far above them.

And on the last one, look at Ronaldo’s face. His eye is on the ball the whole time. He never loses his concentration.

When you’re a defender and Ronaldo does something like that in front of you, all you can do is shrug.
