Changing how the NBA Drafts

I recently read an article on yahoo sports about the NBA adopting a draft and development model closer to the NHL's. I will post the link below. I was curious about people's thoughts of making the switch. I think it's a good idea that could benefit the NBA and the NCAA. It could provide opportunities for growth, improve player development, potentially expand the draft, and help derail some of the under table dealings of college recruiting. I was curious as to the opinions of other basketball fans though.
