4-star WR Jaylen Waddle is signing with Alabama
The electric playmaker makes his college decision.
Four-star WR Jaylen Waddle announced he’ll be signing with Alabama on National Signing Day.
He’s a 5’9, 175-pound pass catcher who doubles as a return specialist, and ranks 39th nationally and fifth at the position according to the 247Sports Composite.
Waddle is not the biggest wide receiver around. He’s not overly elusive with jukes and spins either, but he’s just plain fast with excellent straight-line speed. He’s showcases lightning acceleration and does not waste steps getting up to top speed. He is a very fleet-of-foot athlete, and the type of player you get the ball to as quickly as possible in order for him to make a play with the rock in his hand.

He wisely used what leverage recruits have and decided to not sign during the early signing period. Instead, he took his time and let the process play out the best way for him.
Decided that it is best for me not to sign on December 20th ‼️‼️ pic.twitter.com/Bb1O27Ul4t

Now, he’s headed to college with the ability to affect the game both on offense and on special teams.
