[Men's Basketball] PUC and CSUM Sweep, Head for Showdown

Pacific Union won twice in Arizona, and Cal Maritime took a pair of road games in Southern California to register critical California Pacific Conference wins for the two programs.  PUC got on top of Benedictine-Mesa on Thursday and then held off Embry-Riddle for a three-point win two days later.  CSUM opened the road swing with a win over La Sierra and then traveled up to Lancaster, Calif., where a convincing performance resulted in Antelope Valley's first loss in Cal Pac play.  With the wins, the Pioneers and the Keelhaulers, who will square off in Vallejo, Calif., this Thursday, moved into a tie for second place in the conference standings.
