[Women's Basketball] Alexander Selected as NAIA Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY - The NAIA National Office has released the Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week for performances from January 1-7 and Amber Alexander was recognized for her contributions in the Lions (11-0) remaining ranked first in the country. She beat out winners from the seven other conference to take home the award for the second time in four weeks. She was presented the opening NAIA Player of the Week back on December 6th. So far this season, the GSAC has had the winner in three out of the four weeks (Alexander twice, Emma Forel of Hope International once). On the week Alexander averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds while shooting 46% from the floor and 86% from the charity stripe.
