Lakers ready to part with Zubac?

Ivica Zubac will make 1.3 mil dollars this season, next year is a team option and somehow I feel Magic Johnson doesn't have any plans on keeping him. I certainly hope he doesn't. Zubac was a revelation last season, but this year he has fallen out of favor, he doesn't get any recognition. The Lakers started to play differently this season, they completely changed the way they play in trying to be a fast paced team in accordance to Lonzo Ball and his skill set. Zubac is not part of that equation.

He has been playing very well in the G-league, last night he had 26 points with 9 rebounds in a win against Memphis, today he had 26 points with 12 rebounds in a loss against Delaware. He maybe better off somewhere where big centers are needed. These Lakers actually don't play with a true center, rather fast and athletic power forwards like Nance Jr.

Hopefully Zubac can go somewhere he can get playing time.
