Martavis Bryant mimicked JuJu Smith-Schuster’s hit on Vontaze Burfict during his TD celebration

Usually the Steelers’ celebrations are fun. This one’s questionable.

The Steelers have given us all kinds of fun touchdown celebrations. They took a turn from that on Sunday.

Martavis Bryant hauled in a one-handed touchdown catch to give the Steelers a 17-10 lead over the Patriots. The Steelers celebrated with a re-enactment of JuJu Smith-Schuster giving Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict a concussion and then taunting him.

Bryant fell to the ground, and Smith-Schuster stood over him in the end zone after Bryant’s impressive score.

Smith-Schuster was suspended one game for the hit on Burfict. He made helmet-to-helmet contact with Burfict on a block, and then stood over Burfict as the Bengals linebacker was lying dazed on the ground. Burfict had to be carted from the field.

The Steelers have celebrated scores by playing hide-and-seek and throwing dice in the end zone this season. This was a departure from the fun and lighthearted celebrations.
