C.J. Anderson says he looks like a ‘short pumpkin’ in the Broncos’ Color Rush uniform

Anderson isn’t a huge fan of the head-to-toe retina-searing orange.

The Broncos will play the Colts in the very last Thursday Night Football poopfest of the season. Denver will be sporting its all-orange Color Rush uniforms, and running back C.J. Anderson isn’t thrilled about it.

Anderson doesn’t think the orange look is particularly flattering on him.

"I'm still the same short pumpkin,’’ Anderson said, via KUSA’s Mike Klis. “I'll be a pumpkin and I'm trying to have a Cinderella night."

Anderson may have a point.

Quarterback Trevor Siemian is also not a huge fan of the aggressively orange uniforms. But he didn’t go with a pumpkin comparison.

“I’m not crazy about them,’’ Siemian said. “I think it makes us look like human traffic cones out there.’’

At least one Broncos player is on board with the head-to-toe bright orange look. Von Miller digs it.

“The whole team wears orange, I think it looks great,’’ Miller said. “Some Color Rush colors don’t look as dope as ours. It’s dope we get to go out there in all orange and play in front of the world.’’

The Titans looked like Smurfs in their Color Rush uniforms. The Jaguars’ uniforms look like mustard at best, and the urine of a person who is desperately dehydrated at worst. Washington didn’t even wear its uniforms against the Cowboys this year, because according to team president Bruce Allen, the eye-searing yellow look is “garish.”

C.J. Anderson might look a little bit like a pumpkin in Denver’s Color Rush uniform. But it could probably be worse.
