[Men's Basketball] NABC Honors Cornerstone MBB as Team of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) named Cornerstone as its Team of the Week for the week of Dec. 4-10 after the Golden Eagles ran their winning streak to 12 games with a pair of conference wins. Cornerstone 12-2, 6-0 WHAC) has held its opponent to under 70 points in each game of the winning streak. 

The award is new this year and open to schools with at least one staff member as an active NABC member. The NABC announces teams of the week at every collegiate men's basketball level. The winners for the week of December 4-10 are: Arizona State (NCAA DI), University of Texas - Permian Basin (NCAA DII), Adrian College (NCAA III), and Cornerstone (NAIA). Cornerstone is the first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) team to win the award.
