Georgia RB Sony Michel leaves SEC Championship with knee injury
This doesn’t sound good whatsoever.
In the third quarter of Saturday’s SEC Championship game between No. 6 Georgia and No. 2 Auburn, the Bulldogs lost running back Sony Michel due to injury. Michel was given attention in the injury medical tent on the sideline before he was seen without his helmet.
Sony Michel is out of game for now with left knee injury, per UGA sideline reporter Chuck Dowdle.

CBS sideline reporter Allie LaForce later reported he was out “indefinitely” and that a brace was put on the injured knee, but when he attempted to warm up on the sideline, it didn’t feel right for him.
This would obviously be a huge loss for Georgia, as the senior has rushed for 903 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season. The Dawgs still have senior Nick Chubb, and freshman D'Andre Swift has also gotten reps in Michel’s absence.
We will update this with any additional information.
