Alex Smith's game-sealing INT bailed out refs for a terrible call on the Bills
The Chiefs have now dropped five of their past six games.
The Buffalo Bills had a scare late in their game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, after E.J. Gaines was called for unnecessary roughness that shouldn’t have been called in the first place.
Gaines was running towards Charcandrick West, who ended up giving himself up late in the run. Gaines then pulled up, and slightly made contact with the shoulders of West as he went to the ground. A flag was then thrown:
The play game the Chiefs a first down at the Bills’ 38-yard line, down 16-10 with just under two minutes to go. Alex Smith and the Chiefs struggling offense seemed in prime position to make up for their shortcomings all afternoon.
However, three plays later, Alex Smith threw an interception at the Buffalo 36 to seal the game.
The Bills took two knees, and improved to 6-5 on the season.
The Chiefs have now dropped five of their past six games, and are looking vulnerable as ever with a plethora of issues plaguing their team.
