Nike's new courts in Manila not only look incredible, they will teach you how to play basketball
The courts in Manila will help teach basketball to those interested.
Ever wanted to play basketball on LeBron James’ face? Well, now you can, as long as you can make it out to Manila. Nike created five “Hyper Courts” across five districts in Manila that feature artwork of James, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and Kyrie Irving.
The artwork was done by Dallas-based artist Arturo Torres and features full-court images of your favorite basketball players.
The new courts are helping even the most green basketball players in Manila improve their games. Players can access basketball content online made available via the court without having to use data.
Turn up to one of the initial five courts across Manila and ballers can connect to Nike Hyper Court and gain free access to content, powered by Google technology, that includes training drills, elevated member activities and the best of Nike global basketball content.
It’s cool to see the artwork in general, but it’s also great to know that it’ll help teach the sport of basketball to those who are interested in a region where people love the game. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting out to Manila the first chance I get.
