Marshawn Lynch spent his 1-game suspension owning teens at his old high school
Beast Mode forever!
Marshawn Lynch has a little time off thanks to his Week 8 suspension, but he still wanted to play football — so he found a solution. Lynch went to practice with Oakland Technical High School Wednesday night, and it went about as you’d expect.
This wasn’t just any high school, but the school Lynch attended. He arrived wearing his full Raiders gear and gave players a chance to try and tackle an NFL superstar. Sure, it might have taken six of them, but they did get him down.
Now Lynch’s alma mater may be in hot water with the California Scholastic Federation, which frowns upon grown men practicing against high school children.
Lynch was suspended one game for leaving the sideline and entering a brawl on Thursday Night Football when Derek Carr was hit late. The NFL heard Lynch’s appeal, but ultimately upheld the suspension which will keep him out of the Raiders’ Week 8 game against the Bills.
There’s something so wonderful about Lynch turning up at his old high school and trucking some teens because he can. It’s a good way to keep your legs fresh, and I love that he happened to have a full set of Raiders gear on hand.
Beast Mode forever.
