[Football] Bethel Winds up Short in Tight Game vs Saint Mary

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - Strong winds, heavy rain, and menacing strikes of lightning in the North Newton area dissapated in time for the Threshers football matchup against Saint Mary last night, as part of the annual Bethel Fall Fest. Bethel was in desparate need to turn their season around against a Spires team who was also having a down year. A dog-fight where neither team could get any offense flowing in the first half, Bethel held a 3-0 lead at halftime. Saint Mary was able to score two touchdowns in two minutes during the third quarter, and Bethel couldn't match it. The Threshers fell to Saint Mary, 21-10.
