The Mayweather-McGregor winner gets this belt made out of an alligator and 3,360 diamonds

The winner will receive a belt made of alligator skin with 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, and 300 emeralds.

There are huge stakes on the line when Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor meet Saturday at T-Mobile Arena, but apparently that wasn’t enough for the World Boxing Council.

On Wednesday, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman announced that the winner of the highly anticipated boxing match will receive “The Money Belt,” a ludicrously expensive championship belt.

The belt is made out of alligator skin and features 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, and 300 emeralds. The value of “The Money Belt” wasn’t announced, but it’s safe to say it’s a little pricey.

Early estimates project Mayweather making upwards of $300 million for the bout, while McGregor expects to clear $100 million. Those amounts will be supplemented by an amount of jewels that is straight out of a Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
