UFC 214 live stream: How to watch Cormier vs. Jones 2 online
The UFC is putting on a huge card with three titles on the line at UFC 214: Cormier vs. Jones 2. Here’s how you can watch online.
Three titles will be on the line for the biggest UFC card of the year, UFC 214: Cormier vs. Jones 2. Daniel Cormier will defend his light heavyweight title against Jon Jones, Tyron Woodley will defend the welterweight championship against Demian Maia, and Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino will take on Tonya Evinger for the women’s featherweight title.
All of this is part of a massive pay-per-view card on Saturday. The main card is set for 10 p.m. ET, with prelims beginning on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. and continuing on FXX at 8 p.m. Live streaming of the event can be found at Fight Pass, UFC.TV and the UFC YouTube channel via browsers or the UFC app on connected devices.
Jones was stripped of the light heavyweight title and then the interim light heavyweight title for multiple incidents. The first was a hit-and-run incident he was involved in and the second was a USADA doping violation.
He took a unanimous decision win over Cormier, was stripped the first time, and then won a unanimous decision over Ovince Saint Preux to take the interim belt, which was also stripped from him. Since losing to Jones, Cormier has won the title with a win over Anthony Johnson, and then defended it against Alexander Gustafsson, Anderson Silva, and a rematch with Johnson.
In the co-main event, Woodley will defend his title against Maia. Woodley won the belt with a knockout over Robbie Lawler, who is also on the card against Donald Cerrone in a fight that should be an instant classic.
Cyborg has two fights in the UFC, both TKO wins. She’s facing Evinger, a promotional newcomer but the last Invicta FC bantamweight champion. The former UFC women’s featherweight champion, Germaine de Randamie, refused to fight Cyborg due to her history of anti-doping violations, and was stripped of the title.
Saturday’s main card will open with a fight between Jimi Manuwa and Volkan Oezdemir in the light heavyweight division. Manuwa is on the cusp of the title picture and a win here would be huge for him.
