[Men's Basketball] Jacob Williams Makes NABC Honors Court | Trevecca Basketball
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced Trevecca Nazarene University junior Jacob Williams is a member of the 2016-17 NABC Honors Court.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts men's basketball student-athletes possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.
Jacob Williams, a junior business management major, is returning for his senior season following a career year on the court as well last year. Williams averaged a career-best 12.9 per game, second best on the 2016-17 roster, points while shooting 34.2% from three-point range and hitting a team-best 69 three-pointers. Williams also led the team in steals with 38 and grabbed 4.4 rebounds per game. He set a program record with nine made three-pointers in a game.
Williams has hit 140 career three-point baskets while scoring 679 points, grabbing 251 rebounds, dishing out 77 assists, and collecting 69 steals.
