Giancarlo Stanton loses his glove over the wall while trying to catch the ball
It’s the top of the fourth, and the Dodgers’ Chris Taylor is at the plate. Taylor hits the ball that almost looks like going over the wall. Cue Giancarlo Stanton and his glove.
Glove: “Oh crap, Giancarlo! This one looks like it’s gonna get over the wall.”
Stanton: “Alright, let’s get that sucker.”
Glove: “Giancarlo, your grip feels a little loose, bud. Oh, there goes the ball! Come on, dude! Jump!”
Stanton: “I’m trying!”
Glove: “Oh God, rotate your wrist ahh we missed [bump] OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT GIANCARLO WHY DIDN’T YOU HAVE A TIGHTER GRIP I’M FLYING HELP HELP HELP”
[The ball falls short of a home run and hits the wall]
[Stanton turns to Christian Yelich, who picks up the ball]
Stanton: “Dude, sorry about that. I just lost my glove.”
Yelich: “Ahahahaha, it’s all good man.”
Glove: [from behind the wall] “DAMMIT, GIANCARLO. GET ME OUT OF HERE. WHERE THE HELL AM I ANYWAY? MA’AM, WHY ARE YOU TAKING A PHOTO OF ME WITH YOUR PHONE?”
