The answers are all over the place.
High school sports were our peak, folks. The third team all-conference second baseman award still hangs in the living room over your football practice jersey doesn’t it? Your track medals are stacked on a shelf, your knee pads in a box in the garage, and the footage of your big game against Rival Team is saved to your mom’s computer. These were our biggest athletic moments; the one time our athleticism mattered.
We owe these accomplishments to one person, and one person only: Lil Wayne. Actually, maybe it was T.I. who hyped you up. Jay-Z helped too. So did Nelly. And... Owl City? The Macarena? Ok, well we asked Twitter what songs used to hype them up before they played in a big high school game and the answers were all over the place.
