College baseball player discusses beard hygiene, which is very important
Bethune-Cookman’s Austin Garcia knows the importance of keeping clean facial hair.
College baseball enjoys a robust hijinks in bench antics and outsized personalities. In that vein, then, meet Austin Garcia of the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. Austin Garcia has a rather magnificent beard, and he’s here to share some hirsute hygiene tips with you.

Now, we can’t be too sure what he was discussing previous to this interaction, but here’s Garcia on how malodorous one’s beard can get:
It doesn’t smell too good either. It almost knocks you out whenever you get it on your mustache.
Couple questions, here: 1) what exactly is “it” in the first sentence?; 2) what exactly is “it” in the second sentence, for that matter? Leftover food? Austin, if you could please clarify for us, that would be swell.
Anyway, Bethune-Cookman beat No. 3 overall national seed Florida on Sunday night in the Gainesville regional to send the tilt to a Monday winner-take-all final. Florida leads, 4-0, in the top of the seventh. Stay shaggy, everyone.
