(Billings, Mont.-excerpts from www.naia.org) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 141 Division 1 Women's Basketball student-athletes have been named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, including Dillard University Lady Bleu Devils forward Keona Favis (SR/Shreveport, La.), who earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors for the second straight year. Favis was the only Dillard University basketball player (male or female) to earn such honors.
