China's women's basketball star Li to miss 15th National Games due to knee injury

BEIJING, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- China's women's basketball center Li Yueru announced Monday that she will pull out of the 15th National Games while still recovering from her left knee injury.

Li suffered an anterior cruciate ligament sprain in her left knee while playing for the Dallas Wings in the 2025 Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) season in August, and was sidelined for the remainder of the seaso
