China rallies past Australia to claim 1st victory in women's basketball pre-Olympic warm-up series

SHENYANG, June 2 (Xinhua) -- China's women's basketball team rallied past Australia 75-68 in their third warm-up match here on Sunday, concluding the first phase of pre-Olympic friendlies with one win and two losses.

Guard Yang Shuyu led China with 23 points, Wang Siyu scored 10 and Sun Mengran added nine. Li Yuan, who had a nose fracture, came off the bench to take four points and five assists.

Australia
