Rich basketball tradition of Humphrey St. Francis Flyers to disappear after 2024 state tournament

The Archdiocese of Omaha has announced a plan to merge Humphrey St. Francis with the same schools from Lindsay Holy Family and would leave behind the Flyer mascot that has been in 44 Nebraska state basketball tournaments.
